SUMMARY:Susquehanna Boat Club Pig Roast
DESCRIPTION:Tickets can be purchased at the Berger/Speck campsite #10 every Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 PM for the next 3 weeks\, or email magyarjj@gmail.com to make arrangements in advance. \nMeal will be served between 4-5:30 PM at the club pavilion. Tickets must be purchased in advance. \nThere will be a DJ onsite playing music from 3-6PM \nCornhole Tournament\nRegistration starts at 10:00 AM\, and tournament starts at Noon. Registration fee is $10. \nRules \n\nTwo teams of two people\, termed partners\, shall play.\nPartners are determined by drawing a card\nPartners shall stand at opposite cornhole boxes on the same side\, from the perspective of a\nthird person\, and face each other\, so there is no advantage given to one team.\nEach team shall have 4 bags of one color.\nAll 8 bags begin at one end.\nA coin flip will determine which team has honors in round one.\nOne of the partners on the team who has honors shall begin play by throwing a cornhole bag at\nthe opposite cornhole box.\nA player may throw from anywhere behind the front of the box they are throwing from.\n\nScoring \n\nThe score shall be taken after all cornhole bags have been thrown for the round\nPoints shall be given as follows:\n\n3 points for a bag that goes through the hole\n1 point for a bag that is on the playing surface\n1 point for a bag hanging in the hole\n1 point for a bag hanging off the edge but not touching the ground\n0 point for a bag hanging off the edge touching the ground\n0 point for a bag hanging off the front edge and resting on a bag that is on the ground\n(unless the bag on the ground can be removed without making the hanging bag fall to\nthe ground then one point is given)\n\n\nThe cornhole team with the highest round score\, adds the difference of the difference of the\ntwo scores to their score.\nThe cornhole team who wins the round is given honors to throw first in the next round.\nIf both teams have the same score the score stays the same and honors stays with the team\nwho had it the previous round.\nA player may throw from anywhere behind the front of the cornhole box they are throwing\nfrom.\nGame continues by alternating throws between the two opponent players until all 8 bags have\nbeen thrown.\nIf a cornhole bag hits the ground then bounces up onto the board\, that bag shall be taken off the\nplaying surface.\nThe next round starts when the other player on the team\, which has honors throws their first\nThe cornhole game continues until one team reaches 21 or more points

DESCRIPTION:Montgomery Borough\, Montgomery Water Authority\, Brady and Clinton Townships will be hosting the annual Fireworks display \nJuly 3rd\, 2020 \nMontgomery Park At Dusk (raindate July 5th ) \nMontgomery Firemen will be providing Carnival food at their food stand on the Carnival grounds\nStarting at 5pm \nAs a reminder\, the annual fireworks display will be held on Friday\, July 3rd\, with fireworks starting around 9:30 p.m.  Montgomery Volunteer Fire Company will serve food from their carnival stand starting at 5:00 p.m. \nSeating will be available in the park and at the carnival grounds.  We would like to remind everyone that social distancing guidelines should be followed.   Please keep at least 6 feet of space between your group and groups seated around you.  In light of the recently reported uptick in COVID cases\, out of consideration for others\, we ask that you please wear a mask when moving around and when close to/interacting with others. \nPlease realized that there are people who will not follow the recommended safety precautions.  If you are at greater risk and/or have significant concerns about contracting COVID\, please take as many precautions as possible to protect yourself\, and also understand that seating in this area may not be the best option for you. \nWe wish everyone a safe\, happy\, and health holiday weekend!
